September 21, 1997 - June 25, 2020
Shane Adams, age 22, our sweet son suddenly left us on Thursday, June 25, 2020. He was born in Columbus Ohio to Everett and Stacy (Adams) Horn. He graduated from Miami Trace High School in Washington Court House. Shane worked at Mt. Sterling Place. He also enjoyed singing, drawing and taking adventures. Shane was such a loving, caring soul, the sweetest young man you could meet. Everyone in our small community compliments me on what a respectful, and kind person he is. Shane was such a joy to be around, he had a smile that would light up a room. You couldn't help but feel loved when you were in his presence. His hugs could touch your soul. Shane was always smiling on the outside despite his emotional struggles on the inside. He had a silly personality, loved to joke with friends and family. Shane was so outgoing and would do anything for anyone. He helped us around the house often. He helped me with my flowerbeds or with anything I needed around the house. He would do sweet things like coming over to clean out the garage randomly and waiting for his dad to get home to show dad the garage. He loved to cook, and he was a great cook! He came over on Father's Day and made his dad a steak dinner. He loved his family so much. His daughter, Shayla was the light of his life. He was an amazing father who showered her with love and affection. Shayla was his princess and whole world wrapped into one adorable little girl. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Steven Lynn Adams. Survived by his parents, Everett and Stacy Horn; daughter, Shayla Lynn Adams and her mother Samantha Corzatt; sister, Mariah Horn, brothers, Skylar Horn and Jacob Adams; niece, Kenzley Grace Keeton; grandparents, Ruth Adams, Everett Horn and Vonia Horn; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family will gather on Monday, July 6, 2020 from 3-7 pm at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Graveside and Interment will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Shane is helping others through the gift of tissue donation. For the safety of the community, the funeral home is only allowing 25 guests at a time in the room and the family is asking everyone to wear a mask.
