James J. Hartwell

James 'Jim' J. Hartwell, 70, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019. He was born on February 12, 1949 in Columbus to the late Lawrence and Marian (nee Schwartz) Hartwell. Jim Graduated from Columbus Central High School class of 1968. After high school he earned an Associates in HVAC. He Worked for many years for Roxanne Labs, Sears Logistics, NIFCO, and was currently employed with Ohio Auto Kolor. Jim loved sports car racing, especially Dirt sprint car racing. He spent a lot of his time working on automobiles and gardening. Preceded in death by his parents; siblings, John Jack Hartwell, Donald (Barbara) Hartwell, Paul Hartwell; and brother-in-law, William 'Bill" Schofield Jim is survived by his wife, Marie Carroll Hartwell; brother, Robert (Teri) Hartwell; sister, Linda Schofield; sisters in law, Joyce and Kathy Hartwell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
